Default Warning on new drivers

Maybe it's a safety issue or just reset issue...

Anyway always check settings after installing drivers... especially sli
settings ?!

Did you try to enable it and did it work... if so it probably just fine !

Bye,
Skybuck.

That's nothing new. It's always been like that.

Every time I install a new nVidia GeForce driver I always have to reenable
SLI.

A popup balloon message usually appears above the NVIDIA Settings icon in
the system tray after the forced reboot saying that SLI is available, it
doesn't say that SLI is enabled because it is up to you to do that. Not
everyone with multiple nVidia graphics cards are running them in SLI mode.
They may just be using them for multiple monitor purposes. You can only run
with one monitor enabled in SLI mode.

Since SLI requires the bridge connector you'd think there'd be some way for
the driver to interrogate the cards.

That's why you get the popup, the SLI is seen. The issue is IF the
user wants SLI or NOT. That's why you have manual enable.

Yes I did enable it and it was fine. Fortunately...

I don't run the icon on the system tray. That's probably why I didn't
notice.

Thanks for the warnings
