Does a Firewire 800 PCI card make sense in a 32-bit PCI slot?
The subject says it all. I'm under the impression that Firewire 800 only
works at full speed in a 64-bit slot. If I'm right and it's used in a 32-bit slot, what's the point paying the extra money for a speed you'll never achieve in a 32-bit slot? I'm looking at this link: http://www.subrosasoft.com/thestore/...roducts_id=399 @drian. |
