Default LG Monitor problem with Nvidia FX5700 card

Hello,

I have an LG L1730P monitor which I have received in a swap from LG as my
other (an L1710B) kept playing up. My new monitor now does not work with the
DVI connection from my PC. The other one worked fine and I have not changed
any settings at all. I can use the monitor with an analogue connection
however.

I keep getting the message "Out of range" and I believe this is something to
do with the signal being out of vertical or horizontal frequency range of
the display. My display is set at 1280 x 1024, 32 bit colour and 72 hertz
refresh rate. I'm running Windows XP.

How can I get the DVI to work as I much prefer the image through the digital
input? Canb I change any settings on the video card to make it "in range"?

Many thanks for any help,

Chris.

Redue the reflash rate to 60 HHz and see if that helps.
