Default ASUS V8440 stereoscopic

i couldnt find an asus newsgroup other than mainboards so i thought someone
here might know

recently (a couple of months ago) i bought a TI 8440 ultra delux video card.
(tv in tv out, dvi out, stereoscopic, etc.)

well the stereoscopic function worked great in 98 BUT now i am running XP
Pro i get the error message: Your monitor setting is not correct! To get
VR worked properly, please install the proper monitor driver from Windows or
your monitor vendor.

so i went to good old www.proview.com (i think thats wot it was) and
download drivers for my monitor but it didnt fix the problem...

thanks in advanced
