Default warning about ATI

If you've owned an ATI card in the past and have
enjoyed the product and their generous tech support,
be aware that they have changed. Tech support is
for 30 days now, when in the past their seemed to be
no limit. The 30 days is from time of purchase, not
installation, and not from the time of your first call.
I feel deserted and if you expect to be treated the
way ATI used to treat customers, you will be disappointed.

Thank you. I've had ATI cards for over 15 years
and have always felt good about doing business
with them. I didn't know how really hurt I was until
your message made me feel better. I guess I'm kind
of a wuss but when someone that you look up to
changes into something you don't like.. oh well,
there's always this ng...
Thanks

And people say America is full of pussy bed wetters. You know, people dont
work at ATI tech support for free. You know, there is competition out there
because you are probably one of the same people that doesnt want to pay top
dollar for a top of the line product. Therefore, if they cut prices they cut
the ability to pay for something. Support seems like a good place to me.

Sorry for the slam, but JESUS you sound like a pussy.

I am with you friend. I also believe in speaking the truth at any cost.
There are far more dickheads in the world than ever before so you can ad
that to the fact that other things are also failing.

Good! Why should I pay extra for an ATI card because someone is too lazy to
type groups.google.com into their browser? I'm very grateful that real ATI
engineers (not tech support drones) make themselves readily available to
the community and frequently help out with undiscovered bugs and
compatibility issues. I'm also equally grateful that the time-wasters who
dial technical support generally don't know where to find them.

Technical support is just a way for needy or whiney people to receive the
feeling that they've been 'serviced'.

Oh well...

Seems ok to me. I don't think I've ever botherd to contact the manufacturer
for any issue other than an RMA.

You'll likely get a better and faster response here.
