X1950 Configuration of Video input
Hi
I am using a Powercolor X1950 Pro, this card has this VIVO (Video in video out) feature. I connected my vcr to the card and I installed a capture software (open video capture). When i use the normal composite input connector everything works fine. When connecting the vcr to S-Video input no signal was detected by capture software. Both inputs are there on the graphics card. S-Video output works fine of graphics card and of vcr. I checked the software as well as the drivers and catalyst software for any configuration item, but nothing was there. Nothing was mentioned in the provided documentation of the graphics card Did anybody has any idea how to change the signal from composite to s-video? Kind regards André |

Kind regards André All of the applications I have tried - Dscaler, VLC, Windows Media Capture 9, Microsoft Movie Maker all have the option to select either composite or S-Video. I haven't used Open video Capture so I really cannot help you with this. I would have a go with one of the above (Dscaler is my favourite for playing my XBox through) and see if you have any luck. X1950 Configuration of Video input
Go into the ATI TV, and set the input connector to S-Video, then close
TV. It should retain as the default input source for everything else. |

X1950 Configuration of Video input
I solved the problem: The video connector cable was defect.
Additionally the S-Video In Signal is only ok when i disconnect the Composite In-cable. Thank you for your help |
