If you're not playing 3-d games then any Geforce 4 is overkill. Michael.... -- -- --John Reply to jclarke at ae tee tee global dot net (was jclarke at eye bee em dot net) |

It is a solid performer. Seems more than adequate for everything I use it for, including limited gaming (the newest game I have is NOLF2 and I run it at higher resolutions with most of the "eye candy" turned on). Hope that helps. |

What is there to be said about it... it's a good card, fast and a
perfect card in it's own sence. It's very nice to run DVD's on, watch DivX..call it...he does it. Just what you need from a card. But if you don't game...128Mb is...well a bit much. So the 64Mb model should be nice to for you. Also a little bit cheaper... I do suggest a GF4 ti4200 above the disaster called FX5200, but in your case...64 Mb is definitly enough! You shall enjoy your 4x anti-aliased, 8x aniso-ed powerpoint presentations! Michael J. Donohue wrote in message . .. Actually you should go for an FX 5200 Ultra card with 128 megs of ram is
your budget can afford it. That will secure some future proofing for Direct X 9.0 incorporated gaming features. An ultra FX 5200 is about 127-128 dollars on the pricewatch website. regards B "Michael J. Donohue" wrote in message ...
