Hello There!

I have an embedded linux system, running Slackware 9.1 . I want to be
able to have a few programmable buttons / other digital inputs. Is the
parallel port a suitable interface for this? What is the maximum number
of lines i can access in this way. This may also be used to provide
output to the locking system or windows in a car based environment.

Thanks in Advance

Tom O
