Default bypass compaq splash screen - how???

can anybody tell me how to bypass the compaq splash at post??
i have a machine here for service that some bright spark built up
using a compaq mobo [supplied the customer with no drivers]...i have
no idea what compaq model it is from...there are no options to disable
onboard sound or video in bios...and no indication whatsoever of what
model/make the video or sound controllers are..the only clue i have is
at the top of the award bios setup screen:
ROM PCI/ISA BIOS [2A69kF0E]
i was hoping if i could see the full text of the video init and post i
could get some numbers to begin searching for drivers...the board runs
with a p111 550 mhz slot 1....cant see any id srtrings on the board
anywhere...
thanks in advance for any help

Default

the compaq setup used to be on a small partition on the hard drive.
I have downloaded these before to rebuild a compaq machine. without it, you
cant setup the PC as they dont seem to use a BIOS. If someone has deleted
all the partitions on the HDD or replace the HDD, then this may be missing.
If you can get a part number off the mobo, you may be able to identify the
PC on the compaq website. They have a lotof stuff archived for the older
pcs if you dig deep.
However, there may not be a way of getting rid of this splash screen.

Unsure how helpful this is, but Award identifies this board
as made by FIC.

FIC is found here;
