Default ACLU Hangs on Startup Configuring MSA1500

We are doing our first install of an MSA1500 configured with a single
controller module and one MSA20 attached. The HP array diagnostic sees
the controller and drives and does not report errors. As soon as we
start the ACLU, however, it just hangs and never even draws the contents of
the first window it tries to bring up.

What are possible causes of that and remedies?

Could it be that only certain controllers are supported and the ACLU simply
does a lousy job of reporting that as an error condition?

ACLU = Array Configuration Utility???

Does not support SATA drives = may be an issue with the MSA20.

You need to ring HP and get tech support on the case.

I had this happen once before with MSA 1500 with no drives attached, and
that time it ended up being a controller issue. I was just curious if
someone else had seen that symptom.

And, yes, it should have been ACU, sorry.
