Default 7VT600P-RZ CPU Temp

Hi all,
This is a very smooth board. However, one thing:
Looking at the CPU temp reported in EasyTune4 - CPU 55C
Comparing with Speedfan 4.17 - CPU 43C
Could it be that ET4 reports CPU's on-die temp?

feedback appreciated!

Steve

Believe that EZ Tune reports the temp from a device that reads and converts
the data from an on chip temp diode.

Yep, found that confirming in another forum - Gigabyte reads the Tdiode thus
temps are about 10C higher. However, ET4 is using a 60C CPU warning preset
which is is a typical value for the old fashioned sensor, but way too low
for Tdiode readings.

thx for the feedback
