WINXP SP2,lost MultiMedia Audio Controller
I lost to-day the Multimedia Audio Controller. When Winxp starts up it wants
to install it, but cannot find what it needs. I then inserted the WindowsXP CD disk and thought and hoped it would find the proper files or folder there. No luck. Then I tried to install it from the WINXP disk myself and selected (it was now blue in color) the MultiMedia Controller. But even that did not work. When I go to Settings it sees no Audio device. What is the step or are the steps I must take to regain my audio? I use WinXP, SP #2, and AMD Duo 4200+ HP desktop. |
