Some pathological liar claiming to be Bill Funk wrote in message ... Rod Speed wrote Bill Funk wrote It's a real shame. He does seem to know about hard drives, And the law too thanks Funk. he just doesn't have the maturity to go with the knowledge. Nothing 'mature' about lying, Funk. Typically juvenile behaviour. Like I said, prove me wrong. Pointless bothering, Funk. You'd only keep lying about what I had already said. Reams of your puerile attempts to bull**** your way out of your predicament flushed where they belong. Try harder, Funk. You might actually manage to fool someone, sometime. |

Trying not to admit defeat after being wrong for the umpteenth consecutive time is making the fruitcake writhe around in his straight jacket as he furiously strikes at the keys with the pencil in his mouth - frequently pausing to fling away the drool and occasionally stopping to bang his helmeted head against the wall to relieve some of the frustration. Very good point.
I would think he would have needed to open up the box, and record directly the info of the disk BEFORE he brought it in. wrote: A receipt only shows that you bought the drive, not that it was in the box when you took it in. |

What is the price of a used 40 G drive vs. the price of a
used 80 G drive? I would think that any court would factor in that the subject drive was a used one when brought into the repair shop, and that the plaintiff does have a working drive now. Like $20?? Maybe even less. frankg wrote: Problem is (and I hate to say this and let them get away with it), that the costs involved even tho not a lot, probably isn't worth your time and money to go to small claims court for a 80 gig hard drive nowadays. |
