Driver Update ?
Hi all,
Older Compaq Notebook Presario 1694 Run Win 98se I recently run WMDiag and here are some comments: I try to locate an updated driver but cannot find it. Can someone help. Thanks Philippe DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: Hardware-accelerated Direct3D 9 is not available because the display driver does not support it. You may be able to get a newer driver from the hardware manufacturer. This link takes you to the driver I use for this video chip. By the way DX9 is a waste on this machine, DX8.1 is the last one that works properly and even then there are some power saving mode issues. "Jumbo" wrote in message r...
