Default How to remove Partition?

How to remove Partition?
HD is 40 GB - partitioned to 20 + 20, running XP
one side C: is getting full.
Is there a way to remove the partition and restore it to just one, without
loosing data.

TIA

http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing.../diskdirector/

"Acronis Partition Expert allows you to resize, move, copy, split, and
merge partitions without losing your data."

If you do not mind moving files manually, and you do not have NTFS
partirions, GNU parted should be able to help you for free:

http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/

Otherwise use Partition Magic (warning: Make a backup!!!!) or
one of the other commercial tools.
