well first of all your compairing a dx9 card to a dx8 card, next the fx5200
would be closer in comparison to a ti4200, someone else wanna explain? gotta
paint the kitchen today

I got 12000 score with ti4400
Go get the ti4600.....................................
MSI Kt3 ultra
amd xp2400+ no oc'ing
corsair xms 512mb ddr 333mhz.c2
Asus gf4 ti4400 128mb core 300mhz. mem 600mhz det.41.09
realtek ethernet card 1
realtek ethernet card 2
SB live soundblaster
56kpci modem v92 trust
liteon dvd player
hp 9300i cd writer
floppy drive
ibm deskstar 60gig 7200rpm
superflower 420w psu with aopen h600 case.
Win98se with all updates.

Ti4600 for speed, you'll get nearly double the 3DMark01 score.
FX5600 is DirectX 9 compliant, which doesn't really mean too much right

now.
The *best* card to get at the moment is an ATI 9800 or nV FX 5900.

Well considering the 4600 is ALOT faster than the 5200..
I'd go with the 4600. Its still a great video card.
I get close to 7700 with the FX5200 on my system (see below) and just over
13000 with the 4600.
That should tell you something.

Athlon 2500 Barton CPU
1 gig 2700 mhz DDRram
MSI KT3 Ultra mb
yadda yadda yadda..

I would think also the price difference would be quite significant!
Rule of thumb with graphics cards is that you get what you pay for, so more
bucks usually means more bang.
