Default need to test a SONY VAIO TT190

Hello everyone,

This may be a stupid question... but here goes nonetheless. We need to
get a notebook for a test drive (the one in the subject line). We are
going to put the OS we normally use (Linux) on it and see how it does.
Not that unreasonable a thing to do, IMHO, given that the manufacturer
only ships it with Windows.

Hence the question - is there a "test range" sort of facility of any
kind for that purpose? Could we get a loaner from somewhere to play
with (obviously, for a reasonable fee)? Please advice.

We are located in Boston, MA, USA.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Boris.
