Default Abit NF7-S and a single RAM module - which slot?

Those of you who are using the NF7-S with a single DIMM. which slot are you
putting it in?

3 does noo work on mine, even though it suggests that in the manual.

THanks

Hi,
I heard it was better to use the DIMM slot nearest the CPU, is that slot3?

Nope. Slot 3 is the furthest away from the CPU.

I have a single 512Mb Adata module in that slot and the computer works fine.

hi,

not sure if the NF7-S is dual channel board but if it is then slot 3 is
generally intended to be used for dual channel ddr at least on my soltek
board it is.
