Pc games freeze

Tried loads of help sites forums etc.

Pc keeps locking up way into any game I play, obvious conflict is my
Soundblaster Audigy 4 or my geoforce gt6600

Soundblaster Audigy 4 or my geoforce gt6600

Did the lock-ups start when you added one of the 2 items of hardware? Using
an Audigy 2ZS and 6600GT here with no problems. You using all the latest
drivers? What are your temps like before and after a crash? What rating is
your PSU and what other things have you got running in your PC?

If you think it's a conflict, move the audigy to a different PCI slot.

Had 6600 for a while, freezes seem to start after a reinstall. A lot of
sites tend to say 6600 cards overheat.

i'was using speedfan monitoring with a Leadtek 6600GT AGP, lot of freez in
DX Games, like pic of overheating, then slow down CPU frequency and freeze,
i've looking for a reason by the internet.....no issue, them i decide to
reinstall my pc, making a restauration point before any soft instalation,
then i've determine speenfan is the reason of the freeze, it's describe on
there web site. So do u use SpeedFan ?

Check all drivers to be updated. A conflict sounds weird though. Check
temps, that is it alot of times. Move the slot like the other guy said.
Try the vid card out without the sound card and vie versa to make sure
its on or the other. Isolate the prob. Could be a faulty card.
