Default Strange files saved the hard disk

I bought two hard disks manufactured by Western Digital and size was 200 GB
to save my music files that their format type were mp3 three weeks ago. I
saved all my music
files into two new hard disks and have listen by Winamp ver 2.95.
On December 31, 2003, I tried to listen a music file of mine and I was
surprised. Even if that file name was the same, song was actually different
when I saved into the hard disk. I have listen the same file after save, but
it was changed how I didn't understand. That's why I listen this file
carefully and I learnd that some files saved same hard disk with the file
were mixed like a medley song. That's what some part of some files saved the
same disk were linked. I checked some files and I knew that about 99% of
files have same problem. Two hard disk bought and installed have same
problem. I checked whether there were any viruses or not, but I couldn't
find any viruses. I guess the header or FAT have a problem, but I am not
sure. Have you ever had this kind of problem? Please let me know how to
solve this problem. Thanks.

Do checkdisk on your hard drives.

I had some big problems after I bought my 200 gig.
I initially installed it without the service pack1 update to Win Xpro
and did have some viruses too which I cleaned. I had all kinds of
recurring weird problems. Every once in a while it would boot up and
say I needed to scan my drive and itwould fixing some stuff.

After that files would have the wrong names and Id have damaged files
and fragments.

Yours doesnt seem to have that severe a problem but I would do a scan
disk and make sure your HD is OK. Not all virus checkers can catch all
trojans/viruses.
