ATI 9800 Pro and NVidia MX 440 behave nicely?
Hi Gang,
I've been running my ATI 9800 Pro very nicely in dual monitor mode. I was lucky enough to have found a third monitor, so I'm trying to get 3 monitors working. I'm trying to install a PCI based MX 440 (8x) 64Mb card, for the third monitor. This card worked great with my ATI All in Wonder 8500 card (when I was doing 2 montiors in an older machine). I plug the card in, Windows XP recognizes it fine, says installing hardware - all goes well. BUT- when I try to bring up the display control panel, I get this message: The currently selected graphics display driver can not be used. It was written for a previous version of windows and is no longer compatible with this version of windows. The system has been started using the default VGA driver. I have twice downloaded the XP display drivers from NVidia. Anyone ever seen this before? Any help, greatly appreciated! /kurt |

ATI and Nvidia drivers installed together on the same system frequently lead
