Default Bioshock on a GTS 250

Hey. Bioshock worked fine on my old GTS 8800, but not on my new 250. The
graphics stutter like crazy! I searched around a bit and found other
sufferes with BS and Nvidia cards and it seems that all drivers after 176
'break' the game. Suffice to say other people have installed those drivers
and p;ayed properly. But they don't support my 250!

I tried earlier ones but to no affect. Some told me to lower my max frames
to read ahead setting to 1. That didn't work either.

Has anyone got BS to work on a 250?

Thanks

HI...

did you install the patch for Bioshock?

and did you try also the newest Driver Version: 190.38...?

he
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_wi...0.38_whql.html
this is the Driver for win 7 & Win Vista 32 Bit... if you have an 64 Bit or
XP you have to Change it...

so try it... maybe it help...

I can find a number of GTS 250 reviews where it runs Bioshock at 1920x1280
with everything maxed at 90fps. Not a single issue regarding your complaint
in the 4 reviews I looked at. A GTS 250 is really just a rebranded 9800GTX+
series card. Provide a link to threads where it states that all drivers past
the 176's break the game...I could not find them. System specs would also
help...as would your resolution being used.
