Default which drivers best with MotoGP2

My youngest son wants to run MotoGP 2 on his computer which has a GeForce 2
Pro video card. He currently uses fairly old drivers 23.xx

The game installed fine, but when he tries to run the game it gets to a
black screen with
"LOADING..." in the middle, then locks up.

He has DirectX9.0b installed and is using win98 SE.

Would upgrading his drivers to a recent release help or is his problem so
other issue?

thanks

Put DirectX 9.0a 'cause the b version is making problems. And, put a new
WHQL drivers.
Hope that helped.

thanks, I'll try newer drivers. Is there anything to be gained by getting
the latest
which are ~45.xx rather than 30.82?

cheers

DirectX 9.0b seem to run fine on all our other computers but if new drivers
fail
to help then I'll try downgrading to 9.0a

thanks for the suggestion.
