Default Intel SE7501CW2 and P4 1.4/1.7 -- is this possible?

Hello,

Is there any chance that P4 Xeon 1.4GHz processors with stepping C0 will
work with Intel dual SE7501CW2 motherboard which supports processors
from 1.8GHz up and stepping C1?

I would greatly appreciate any help if this is possible or reference to
any article that explain the dependencies between processor stepping and
motherboard in this case.

thanks
Dirk
