ricoh mp5240a cd/dvd writer wont enter dma mode
latest bios f6
latest firmware 1.19
writer: only drive on secondary controller jumpered master 80 conductor used

intel's application accelerater reports
limit udma2
current mode pio-4
ide ata/atapi controllers
intel(r) 82801db ultra ata storage controller - 24cb (microsoft)
intel(r) 82801db ultra ata storage controller - 24cb (intel)
standard dual channel pci ide controller
under device manager\ide ata/atapi controllers\secondary ide
channel\properties\advanced settings reports
dma if available
current mode pio-4
tried uninstalling secondary channel with each controller
to no avail
any suggestions gratefully received
