... I am going to buy one of those Hercules 3d prophet 9500 pro 128MB DDR Hercules 3d prophet 9600 pro 128MB DDR Depends what you're after. For raw power at stock speeds, the 9500Pro wins in most head to heads. But at a cost. It's design was cutting edge when released with the 9700, but requires a beefy PSU and extra, often noisy cooling. They're also getting hard to find these days as they have been superseded by the cheaper 9600. Might be worth shelling out the extra bucks for a 9700, or a standard 9500, many of which could be modded to a 9700. The 9600 is based on the first GPU ATI built from the 0.13 micron process. As a result, it is cheaper to build (and usually cheaper to buy), doesn't require additional power and runs cooler and quieter. Further, it has a lot of headroom for easy overclocking. Many cards are achieving increases of over 25% over stock core and RAM speeds, and it's a piece of **** with a program like RadClocker which just adds another tab to your display properties. At these speeds, on top of it's already improved core speed (and despite the halving of rendering pipelines from 8 to 4), it beats the 9500pro in the majority of head to heads. For myself, an inaudible fan was a must, as was getting bang for buck. I got a 128Mb 9600Pro VIVO for cheaper than a 9500 non-pro non-VIVO and couldn't be happier. Especially now I've overclocked it to a level where it outperforms a similarly overclocked 9500Pro in the majority of benchmarks. |

If so, wouldn't a 9600Pro VIVO be the All In Wonder 9600 Pro? Or is there a company that makes a 9600Pro card with just VIVO and no TV tuner?
