Agilent HHBA-5418 2Gbit Adapter with HP Proliant?
I noticed that Agilent brands its own 2Gbit fibre channel cards, such as
Agilent part number HHBA-5418. Do these numbers correspond to any of the HP branded fibre cards used in the Proliant systems? -- Will |

All these cards "used" to have a FCC ID/Registration number on them. That enabled you to look up that number and see the original manufacturer regardless of brand stamped/printed on the board. I don't know if boards are still required to show that id number, but if it were there, it would enable you to see who actually built it. Back when I had a repair shop, we would get some boards/cards with no names. The FCC number search would allow us to see who made it and find the proper drivers. Phil |
