A lot of people that came from the UNIX environment to VMS really didn't like it at first... till they had to do a system backup. The backup command had a lot of different qualifiers and was easy to understand. I liked to just assign a function key (out of the way of course) and just hit the key to perform the backup. Very easy after that. Then along came DECWindows. |
