Dude, Where´s my partition?
Friends,
I have a big problem. I was trying to install linux at my 80GB hard disk. Originaly there were two partitions of 40Gb each one and i was thinkinig in create a 10GB partiton at the end of the disk. That was what I told Partition Magic to do. Unfortunetly, an error ocoured and the new partition was created beteween the two old partitions, but just removing space from the first one, remaining the second partition intact, at least in size. But now, I can´t access any data in the second partition and the Win Xp keep asking me to format that drive. Some informations are important, I think. There is no OS in the second partition. I was using that just as a repository of files and that partition was logical. Does someone knows how do I recover all my files? What are my chances? Is out there any software that could help me? Uninstalling Linux would help? I must say also that I did the backup disks from Partition Magic, but, lucky I am, the disks are unreadable. Thanks for any help.... Rodrogo |
