Default Which DVI cable to get?

I have a Samsung 930b and an ATI All In Wonder 9800 Pro card. I think I
should get a DVI-D M/M single link 6 ft cable.

My questions a

Would it be bad/harmful to get a dual link cable since they are a few
dollars less?

Is there any real advantage to getting a DVI-I cable instead?

Is there any specific brand of cable I should/shouldn't use?

Thanks!
Richard
