Default Dell Margi DVD-to-go in Compaq Armada 7800

I have Armada 7800 laptop with W2k,
recently acquired a Dell Margi DVD card that's supposed to allow better
video for DVD viewing.
Unfortunately when I try to start the DVD to Go software to works with the
card, I get the message "Key exchange for DVD copy protection failed.
Playback stopped."

This is occuring with an "original " DVD.

Anybody have experience with this issue or the Margi card.

thanks
peter
