Asus EN6600-TD power-up issue
I just built a new system today. Problem is the video card issues a
quieter version of the sound it would make if the power cord were not attached. (it is however attached) And when you try to start the computer the sound goes away but it doesn't even go into POST. No picture what-so-ever. The monitor is blank and the power light shows standby mode. Is the Vid Card bad, or do I need a bigger PS, or is it not in sync with something below? The system is an ABit NF7-S2G Ultra 400 motherboard, 1 gig of PC3200 mem. (1 stick) AMD Mobile XP 2500+ CPU (not overclocked) ASUS EN6600-TD 256MB 8XAGP W/TV & DVI Codegen Case w/350 watt PS Sony 16x DVD Rom Sony Dual layer DVD/RW DRU710A WD 160 Gig HDD with 2MB cache
