Logitech z5300 Satellite Wires

I am getting my defective Logitech z560 Speakers replaced by z5300. I
hear that the satellites on these are RCA cables and not generic
speaker cables. Is there any way to extend them? Can you get wires
and just solder them onto the end of the satellite wires to extend
them?

Well, that's a crude way to do it, but it could work.

Better to just get a couple RCA male-female cables, or one single cable
and just pull it apart into two pieces, like these:
