Default geForce 5700 Ultra - same price as 5900! Is it just as fast???

Confusing.... I see that FX 5800 Ultra is more expensive than 5900
(non-ultra) and 5700 Ultra is the same price as 5900... are they close to
the same features and speed? I thought 5900 was much faster, but then
wouldn't it be more expensive?

Hmmm...

Nope. The memory on the 5700 is very expensive.
The 5900 has twice as many pixel pipelines and is the faster
card in all real applications requiring 3D graphics performance.
Also you only need 128Meg for all current games. Also most
5900 boards will overclock readily. My 5900/128 non-Ultra
overclocks to 475GPU/890Mem confirmed stable on both
bench-marks and real applications. Max GPU temp 65 degrees C
(ambient 27 degrees C). Of course, in overclocking, your
mileage may vary...............
