Error programming bios GF4 TI4200

hi,
I've a creative GF4Ti4200 64mb and i'm not able to flash the bios:

nvflash can erase and read the memory but when I try to flash the rom
I get the following error:

"Exceeded maximum wait time to program a single page: 200ms"

does anybody has any idea?

And why would you ever want to flash the BIOS in the
first place ? A really good way of generating a door-wedge.

I have had many nVidia cards, and never ever needed
to flash the BIOS. Updated drivers many times, of course.

Amen, John. If it works, don't f**k with it. On the other hand, maybe he
really wants to upgrade but must kill the old card first.

I need to flash the rom because the card is not working and in my

And yet you corrupt the card even more by trying to programm a bios....

Ah well, your waranty is to hell now anyway, buy a new card!
