Default HELP! Asus GeForce4 MX-440 mpg and game problem

Just got the MX-440 64MB video card. Had initial problems with the
drivers where nothing would even show up on screen (using WinXP Pro, Asus
A7V266-E motherboard 4xAGP). INstalled the WHQL certified driver and it
seems more stable. However, cannot seem to play any MPG file, either from
the computer, playing a VCD, or playing a game like NBA 2003. The screen
is just blank.

Any ideas on what it could be? Appreciate any help.
