Default GA-7N400PRO2 showing wrong processor

I just built a system yesterday:

GA-7N400PRO2
Athlon 2800+ "Barton"
768 Mushkin "Basic Green" RAM
80 gig 7200 WD drive
80 gig 7200 IBM drive
Sony CDRW
Sony DVD ROM
Chaintech GF 5200FX
Chieftec Dragon/Antec 430W "True Power"

Bought all of the parts at Newegg

The system is showing the Athlon 2800+ as a 1.25 Ghz processor. Are
there any setting on this board which could cause this? I changed the
CLK_SW dip switch to opposite that it came by default. I also went
into the BIOS and changed the FSB Frequency to 166 Mhz. I DID NOT
change any of the CLK_RATIO dip switches. Is there anything else I
need to do? The machine runs stable and fast (at least compared to my
previous board), but it still shows the processor as a 1.25 Ghz.

I had the same problem when I first installed this nice motherboard. I
dipped the "CPU clock switch" which is located near the northbridge fan at
the centre of the board.
If this does not help, you must change CPU ratio in the bios.

Kind greetings, Bob

The CLK_RATIO must be set. Set then 13X and you shouls see 13*166 or 2158 or
so.
