Default NVDVD incompatible with nForce Dualview

NVDVD incompatible with nForce Dualview

Can anyone shed any light on this apparent incompatibility between NVDVD
2.55 (or any other version AFAIK) and nForce 52.16 in Dualview mode?

When I watch a video file (through Windows XP Media Center Edition) using
the NVDVD MPEG2 decoder, I get the following issues if my desktop is set up
in Dualview mode:

1) Vertical lines seem stretched horizontally and disproportionately to
their neighbouring lines. This is particularly apparent with text.
See my screenshot at http://tinyurl.com/yqsj
- Things to look for:
- "Old Bailey" - 'd' 'i' & 'y' appear stretched and fuzzy
- "Judge has begun..." - same problem on certain areas particularly 'h' &
'g'

2) Playback frame refresh rate appears 50% slower. E.g. a 30 FPS video
has an effect similar to playing at 15 FPS. This appears CPU based as when
I enter the Guide or other MCE menus, they don't zoom into view slowly, they
stutter into view as if every other frame had been removed.

*However* if I watch the same video in Clone or Single Display mode, or
using Intervideo WinDVD 5 instead, the problem is gone.
See my screenshot at http://tinyurl.com/yqsv for comparison
- Things to look for:
- Text is no longer disjointed
- Everything is perfectly clear

My system:
Sony Vaio PCV-RZ322 Media Center Edition
2.8GHz HT
1GB RAM
120GB HD
NVIDIA GeForce 5600 FX (video out)
Hauppauge WinTV PVR250 (video in)

Thanks in advance.
