Default overlay scaling (continued)

i got problem when i try to scale movie on overlay - movie size dont
change - change only zoom so i can see smaller part of a movie. is there any
way to change not only zoom but also movie size??
update:
this is not problem with player - i try many of them and the effect is
always the same
i think overlay problem is connected with drivers but i try few and its also
fails (maybe some settings are important)???
