5600U really not worth it??

Would going from an ATI Radeon 8500 to a Geforcefx 5600U really be
more of a sidegrade than an upgrade??

I'm happy playing at just 1024x768 with no AA, so at the very least
would an upgrade to a 5600U let me ramp up the graphics detail several
notches while maintaining decent framerates, like in current racing
and FPS games and such? I find with my 8500, paired with an AMD XP
2400, things slow down noticeably with all the eye candy cranked up.

If the 5600U is that crappy, what's the next cheapest card I can
upgrade to (~$150) that'll give it to me all??

Look for the FX5700 Ultra

Cheap and I've seen the speeds...it should run like a little fish in
salt water on an aprils morning!
