NView on W98SE - How do you switch primary display 2<-->1?
Running Windows 98SE, fresh install, BFG Asylum ti4200 128 MB card and
45.23 driver. I have two displays, an LCD on the left and CRT on the right. The right one (NEC FP2141) is primary, the left one (Planar PX191) is secondary. But I want the left Planar to be primary. I use it much more than the CRT and I need it to be primary. I see nowhere and no way I can change this in display properties, nview configuration, nowhere. Uninstalling the driver and reinstalling does not change this. I'm sure I don't have to reformat the partition and install Windows 98 from scratch to fix the problem. I have a definite sense that nView is barely supported on Windows 98SE. Is this true??? Thanks for any help. |

I think the crt port is the primary choice for the graphics card.
In the nvidia tab from desktop/properties/advanced there is a function to change the primary display. Go to nview and under the monitor picture is an option you can use, 1 make this primary display 2 auto panning. This is with driver 41.09 on win98se.Dunno about the later drivers if this function is there or not (invisible or plain greyed out). "Dan Musicant" schreef in bericht ...
