NView - How do you switch primary display 2<-->1?
Running Windows 98SE, fresh install, BFG Asylum ti4200 128 MB card and
45.23 driver. I have two displays, an LCD on the left and CRT on the right. The right one (NEC FP2141) is primary, the left one (Planar PX191) is secondary. But I want the left Planar to be primary. I use it much more than the CRT and I need it to be primary. I see nowhere and no way I can change this in display properties, nview configuration, nowhere. Uninstalling the driver and reinstalling does not change this. I'm sure I don't have to reformat the partition and install Windows 98 from scratch to fix the problem. Thanks for any help. |

You can drag the monitors around in the little window, and change their parameters.... Download the manual: http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/4...e_v45.2 3.pdf Good Luck! Leo |

I have a strong feeling this stuff isn't fully supported in Windows 98. Certain parameters appear for all the world to be cast in concrete in my Windows 98. I multiboot on this box with Windows 2000, and in Windows 2000 I can change that stuff really easily. However, in Windows 98 I can't change the designation of the primary monitor. I've tried everything including removing the driver and reinstalling. Nothing works, absolutely nothing. I'm wondering if I can even get my LCD as primary if I reformat the Windows 98 partition!
