Default NView - How do you switch primary display 2<-->1?

Running Windows 98SE, fresh install, BFG Asylum ti4200 128 MB card and
45.23 driver.

I have two displays, an LCD on the left and CRT on the right. The right
one (NEC FP2141) is primary, the left one (Planar PX191) is secondary.
But I want the left Planar to be primary. I use it much more than the
CRT and I need it to be primary. I see nowhere and no way I can change
this in display properties, nview configuration, nowhere. Uninstalling
the driver and reinstalling does not change this. I'm sure I don't have
to reformat the partition and install Windows 98 from scratch to fix the
problem. Thanks for any help.

You can drag the monitors around in the little window, and change their
parameters....

Download the manual:

Good Luck!

Thanks Leo. I have a strong feeling this stuff isn't fully supported in
Windows 98. Certain parameters appear for all the world to be cast in
concrete in my Windows 98. I multiboot on this box with Windows 2000,
and in Windows 2000 I can change that stuff really easily. However, in
Windows 98 I can't change the designation of the primary monitor. I've
tried everything including removing the driver and reinstalling. Nothing
works, absolutely nothing. I'm wondering if I can even get my LCD as
primary if I reformat the Windows 98 partition!

Dan
