Default Lian Li Dealer Question

I have just staretd planning and researching building my first PC. I was
interested in a Lian Li case, either the PC 60 with an added clear panel or the
PC 65...the same thing as the 60 with a clear side window. The PC 65 has been
very hard to find, but I found one he

Silver PCs Computer Parts...has anyone dealt with them as I was wondering how
reputable they were before placing an order.

Also their image of the case shows 4 USB ports at the bottom and claims 4 fans
while the images and descriptions I see on other sites and the Lian Li site
says 2 USB ports under the power switch and 3 fans.

Their image is he

Thanks for any comments

I actually just called them and they say that the image was of the old PC 65
case that had USB 1..and that there were 4 of them but that the case now ships
with two USB 2.0 ports. Also, they said the case used to have 3 fans but now
has 4.

Does this sound right? Obviously I want to make sure this is legit and that
the case is not counterfeit or anything...maybe I am just a cynic :)

I wouln't deal with a company that didn't have
its product descriptions up to date and accurate.
There are plenty of companies that do. Check
http://www.newegg.com for the case you want.

I have what I believe to be a model 60 that I bought at a local CompUSA
store. Paid about $99.00

They had several different models, some with windows some without.

Mine has no windows and no clear font panel covers. Just all silver
aluminum.

It has 4 5 1/4 front drive bays, 3 3 1/2 front drive bays and an internal
removable HD cage at the bottom front of the case.

Mine has 2 80mm fans at the lower front of the case that are connected to a
three-speed selector switch.

Mine also has only 1 80mm fan at the rear of the case but there is room to
mount a second one if you cut out an opening (I have)

Mine has a little flap at the bottom of the front of the case that covers
two USB ports. These USB ports have cables attached that end in individual
connectors on each of the individual wires. They are meant to be plugged
into USB ports on whatever MB you install. therefore, if your MB has USB 2.0
connectors on the MB, then that's what you'll end up with at the front of
your case.

Some of the other Lian Li cases they had came with up to 3 windows and 6
fans. Two at the lower front, two at the rear, one on the top and one in the
side window.

The newegg site description of the case conforms with what I was told at the
first store over the phone including the part about the three fans. Though the
picture on the newegg site was correct and up to date there was a warning on
the page that said that in some cases the pictures on their site might not be
up to date. The same case is about $20 more at newegg...but perhaps it is
worth it if they are more reliable.

However, it says at the bottom of each image page:
"due to manufacturer version updates, pictures may
vary from the actual item.", so they are not
misrepresenting the product, intentionally or
unintentionally.

and it doesn't make them any different from any other site with out of date
information about the products they sell.
