Default nvidia 8600

This might sound a bit silly but I'm not a very techy guy, my question
is that I have a brand new system without operating system over it my
graphi card has 2 DVI outputs and I have a LCD which supports DVI as
well as VGA, now to install a new operating system I need to see the
basic BIOS output on my LCD so would the DVI or VGA output the BIOS
without windows on my LCD?

P.S. my motherboard does not have builtin graphics.

Thanks

Both. Not OS dependent.

until you hear them speak.........

Unless you have an older Apple monitor you should be fine.

Either the DVI or VGA would work fine to show your BIOS. HOWEVER, use the
DVI for a much sharper image.
