Default 8800GTS and Mitsubishi 65" DLP

Hooked up my PC today to the aforementioned DLP via DVI and I have an issue
regarding sizing. The DLP has "Format" settings of 1080p "Standard," or
1080p "Reduced," but the OS desktop size is a bit too big in Standard, or a
bit too small in Reduced. In the NVidia control panel settings for screen
resizing (a slider), there isn't enough magnification or reduction to
properly size the desktop to fill the DLP screen in either Reduced, or
Standard. Loosly tranlated, there's a black border around the desktop in
Reduced and in Standard, it's just big enough to hide the XP Start Menu
button. Any thoughts?

Pertinent info:
OS: XP x64
Driver release: 97.92

Thanks.
