Default Real game benefits of faster memory timings?

Everything else being equal, should there be a noticeable frame rate
difference in gaming between 1 gig of 2,3,3,5 memory vs. 1 gig of 3,4,4,8?

Or will only benchmarks(Sanda,Aquamark,3dMark,etc) notice a difference?
