Now this is weird

Hi overclockers

I am new to o/c and i have a little problem

I have an 2500+ on Gigabyte 7n400pro stock ram and Thermalright SLK-700

The best i can do is:

210x11=2310Mhz, sys is stable temp is bit high but ok


What i cannot understand is that system becomes unstable (blue screen) if i
put the multi to 11,5 and i lower the fsb to 200 (that makes same or lower
Mhx!) 11,5x200=2300. Problems seem to come from RAM but the FSB is LOWER!!!
How strange?

Can anyone explain this weird behaviour?

GigaByte is the only NF2 board that doesnt unlock the CPU multi.'s ,Thats
why i swapped out of GA-7N400Pro to ASUS A7N8X Deluxe...Now sky's the
limit..........
