Default Any hope for Crimson Skies "menu problem" with Nvidia cards being fixed?

The latest Nvidia drivers (78.01 as of this writing) are still having the
same issue with the menus in Crimson Skies, preventing you from choosing
your plane and configuring it's engine, armor, weapons, ammo, etc. The
choices for these items appear as colored blocks on GF 6x series cards.
Several people over the past months have reported this issue on various
forums, but the issue continues even with the latest drivers.

Is there any possibility that this will eventually be fixed, or is Crimson
Skies permanently broken for GF6x series users? There was a similar issue
with ATI cards, but a workaround for users of those cards was posted months
ago. I've tried playing with all the Nvidia settings with no luck, so any
new information on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Larry
