Whats the difference to the 4200. Which was the one i wanted but to expensive. Why is the 3800 X2 less expensive ? Thanlks. |

It's clocked lower. That's it. Small difference in speed, big difference in
price. Make sure you want one for the right reasons (video/mp3 encoding, DCC). In games dual-core has no benefit (so it's essentially a 3200+). -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. Several on-line dealers are making out like a banshee by overcharging by at least 20% for others in the X2 family. The problem with red-hot products and still-limited-supply. Wait 2-3 months and all X2 prices should more reasonable. John Lewis |
