Trouble with FPD and ATI drivers

I just installed a new Samsung panel. Went from a 931BF (19") to a
2243BWX (22") and having a lot of trouble with ATI drivers. Under
Display Properties, Settings, Advanced the Monitors selection has a
FPD that says "SyncMaste" and the rest is cut off. The `Attributes´ line
says 1280x1024 which is the OLD panel size. On the icon it says 1152
x864 resolution.

There is NOTHING I can do to change the viewport setting, and when
setting the video resolution to 1600x1000, I get a 1280x1024 view area
and must pan the desktop around underneath it.

What is needed to correct the problem? I have the NEW Samsung
monitor driver installed ok. What ATI driver should be downloaded
for a WIDE 22" screen and an ATI FireGL V3100 to operate at 1600
x1000? This is driving me nuts!!

Never mind.. it's fixed. Simply reinstalled 8.543 driver.
